January 2026 Bible Study Challenge Part Two: Artificial Intelligence

This is the January 2026 Bible Study Challenge Part Two: Artificial Intelligence, where we will share our observations from part one.

“Homeschooled girl shall not live on cookies alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God,” or something like that. Welcome to the January 2026 Bible Study Challenge Part Two: Artificial Intelligence! Today, we will share our observations on the use of AI from part one of the January 2026 Bible Study Challenge. If you haven’t completed your observation yet, you can still quickly complete part one. Make sure to include the answers to all three Main Questions. Are you ready? Let’s dive into the Word, girlies!

Reminder of Our Bible Verses:

Proverbs 16:25

There is a way that appears to be right,
but in the end it leads to death.

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Matthew 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Reminder of the Three Main Questions:

My Observation

It’s January 31. January is already almost over! My prediction for 2026 was that AI is going to continue to expand as it has for the past few years. Because of this, I did some digging in the Bible to find some verses that tell me how to use AI the right way. I listed them above. Now, let me share my answers to the three Main Questions.

Why is AI dangerous when not used correctly?

AI is dangerous when not used correctly because Proverbs 16:25 tells me that the way that appears right leads to death! AI doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong like humans do. It’s only a trained piece of software that is not made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Because of this, it doesn’t have the Holy Spirit living in it. It just tells people what appears to be right, which leads to death. AI is trained to always agree with me, even if it is against the Bible.

How do we know when AI isn’t being used correctly?

In my top ten favorite Bible verses and passages, I included Galatians 5:22-23 as one of my favorites. I did this because it tells me if I’m living according to the Holy Spirit or not. This verse also tells me if something else isn’t aligned with the Spirit. If my use of AI isn’t producing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, then I’m not using it correctly.

Romans 12:2 also tells me how to know when I’m not using AI right. I shouldn’t conform to the pattern of this world (which trained AI), but I should instead let the renewing of my mind transform me. Doing this will make me able to know what God’s will is. If my use is against God’s will, then I’m using AI wrong!

How do we use AI the right way?

Romans 12:2 also tells me how to use AI the right way. When using AI, I should not conform to the pattern of this world. Matthew 28:18-20 (Great Commission) also tells me how to use AI the right way. I should use AI to expand the kingdom of God. It’s a tool that I can use for good.

Conclusion for the January 2026 Bible Study Challenge

Thanks for reading my observation for the January 2026 Bible Study Challenge Part Two: Artificial Intelligence! Now, it’s time to comment on your observation from the Bible study! I can’t wait to see it! I hope you had fun and learned how to use AI the right way. That’s all. Bye, girlies!
