This is my favorite homemade hair mask. I discovered that I don’t need to buy hair masks from the store when I have conditioner, honey, coconut oil, and avocado oil. It’s so simple, yet so effective. Ever since I found this recipe, I’ve been using it every week. It works so well for me that I have to share it with you!
So, why use a hair mask? Hair masks give your hair extra nourishment. This can improve shine, softness, and hair health. Hair masks are especially useful for people with dry or frizzy hair because they give hair a lot of hydration that regular conditioners usually can’t.
Customize your hair mask depending on your hair type. How? Do some research on your hair type and what oils work best on it. Because I’m not a professional, you should do your own research for what will work best for you. For example, coconut works well on curly hair or wavy hair. If your wavy or curly hair gets dry and frizzy like mine, then coconut oil is a good option. The oils I use in this recipe will not work for everyone! For you guys with straight hair, use something better suited to your hair type. If you’re absolutely clueless, jojoba works well on most hair types because it’s very similar to your own scalp’s oil.
That’s enough information. Here’s my favorite homemade hair mask that I always use. It’s free from chemicals and is easily made at home! I hope you like it! Let’s start!
Step 1:

Put the regular amount of conditioner you use based on your hair length in a bowl. Add a spoon of coconut oil, a spoon of avocado oil, and a spoon of honey. The measurements depend on how much conditioner you use. Replace the oils with different oils that match your hair type. Customize your hair mask (By the way, why does the honey and avocado oil look like an egg in the picture?).
Step 2:
Mix the ingredients until they are well-combined. Apply the hair mask to your hair the night before you wash your hair. Wear a braid and sleep on a towel so you don’t ruin your pillows.
Step 3:

The next day, wash your hair. This hair mask makes my hair super shiny because of the coconut oil and the avocado oil.
This hair mask is a fun craft and a chance to help your hair. By using natural oils like coconut, jojoba, or avocado, you’re giving your hair strands extra moisture, shine, and protection from damage. Now, remember that you won’t get results overnight. I’d be a liar if I promised that. Consistency and patience are key! Put this mask into your hair care routine, and over time, you’ll notice softer, stronger, and healthier hair. It’s a simple, tiny step that makes a HUGE difference for your hair.
SO, that’s my favorite homemade hair mask. It’s so easy, effective, and natural. If you try this homemade hair mask recipe, please let me know in the comments and tell me how it went for you! Bye, girlies!
