It’s the winter season! It’s time for the cold and potentially snow. Winter afternoons can be boring, so I have a list of ten indoor snowy day activity ideas for girls! They are so much fun, indoors, and the perfect activities for a snowy day. Are you ready to hear them? Let’s dive in, girlies!
1. Winter Nails
Do you like painting your nails? If so, this activity is a great option for you! Grab any blue nail polish you may have and start painting your nails. Add any decorations you may have, like rhinestones, mini snowflakes, or glittery nail polish. It’s so much fun, and you don’t need to go outside at all. Try this activity!
2. Window Story-Writing
If writing is your thing (like me 😎), then this activity is perfect! All you need to do is look outside and observe the snow. Based on what you see, write a story. It can be fantasy, realistic fiction, non-fiction, or poetry. I remember writing a poem one winter day about a girl and her dog on a snowy day. It was so much fun to write! 3. Winter Window Art
This activity also requires you to look out the window. If you like art better than writing, try out winter window art! Just look out the window and draw what you see. You can be realistic or imaginative. I hope you enjoy this activity!

I think that chocolate chip cookies go best with books. If you don’t want to get your hands dirty, eat your snacks with chopsticks. It sounds weird, but it works! Have fun at your reading party!
7. Winter Kitchen Sink Cookies
Have you ever heard of everything but the kitchen sink cookies? They are cookies with pretzels, chocolate, candy, potato chips, and basically any topping you want! You can make winter kitchen sink cookies by adding white chocolate, blue sprinkles, and anything else you have that’s winter-related. Experiment with different flavors and toppings. This is an amazing activity with friends. You could also pair these cookies with a hot chocolate bar.
Also, if you want a gluten-free option, you can try out my Christmas snowball popcorn balls! I added white chocolate, sprinkles, and powdered sugar as toppings, but you can add whatever you want except the kitchen sink! I hope you try this someday!
8. Game Night
I love game nights with family or friends! It’s a great activity if you, your family, and friends like games or puzzles. Choose your favorite games and start playing. It can be a word game, board game, or even a winter puzzle. Share snacks if you want to, and have fun!
9. Winter Crafts
Winter crafts are so much fun! You can make paper snowflakes, bookmarks (that you can use for a reading party), or even a snowglobe in a jar. Add any winter stickers or decorations you may find around the house. The possibilities are endless! Try making winter crafts today!
10. Winter Box Game with a Group
It’s time for the last of the ten indoor snowy day activity ideas for girls. The winter box game with a group is so much fun! Basically, everyone puts something that they really like in a box. It can be a beauty product, toy, or something else. Make sure no one knows what other people put into the box. After everyone is done putting their item into the box, all the items are revealed, and everyone has to guess who put what in the box. You can say it out loud, but it would be better for everyone to write their answer for no cheating. The person who guesses the most correctly wins. I hope you play this fun game one day!
