A Teddy bear, flowers, and the words "Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Friends that Are Under 10 Dollars."

It’s Valentine’s Day, the holiday all about love and buying overpriced chocolate for people you love. Yeah, it can be hard to find a meaningful and reasonably priced gift for friends on Valentine’s Day. That’s why I have a list of Valentine’s Day gift ideas for friends that are under 10 dollars! They are fun, meaningful, and cheap. You don’t have to spend all of your savings on gifts for friends this Valentine’s Day! Ok, let’s dive in!

1. Valentine’s Day Plushie

Plushies are the classic Valentine’s Day gift to a friend. Not only are they usually under 10 dollars, but they are super cute too! Add a hand-written note with the plushie to make it even more special. If you find a super cheap one, you could even add some candy with it, like gummy bears, to go with a Teddy bear.

I’ve found many plushies at Dollar Tree, including Teddy bears. You can find one at the dollar store, Walmart, or any other store, usually for under 10 dollars. If you don’t want to go to a store, check out this cute dog Valentine’s Day plushie that I found on Amazon (affiliate)! It’s exactly $10 as of the day I’m writing this. Give a Valentine’s Day plushie to a friend this Valentine’s Day!

2. Heart Jewlery

Heart jewelry is a nice Valentine’s Day gift to a friend because they can wear it all year! Unlike Valentine’s Day plushies that are only for one time a year, heart jewelry goes with any outfit in spring, summer, autumn, and not just in February. Heart jewelry can be silver or gold, so get whichever one your friend likes best. You can also get earrings, a necklace, a bracelet, or all three if you find really cheap ones.

I did some searching on Amazon and found some fun heart jewelry for a Valentine’s gift that your friend can wear all year! The first one is a necklace. Click here to buy it (affiliate)! It’s a heart necklace that is about $7 as of right now when writing this. The second one is a set of two heart friendship bracelets. Get it by clicking here (affiliate)! Your friend can have one, and you can have the other. It’s about $7 right now. The final jewelry gift for your friend that I found is a set of ten heart earring studs for $10 (affiliate). All of these heart jewelry gifts I found are super cute. Buy them today!

3. Valentine’s Day Craft Supplies

If your friend loves doing painting and crafting, Valentine’s Day craft supplies are a great gift idea! And you can totally find some at Dollar Tree for $1.25! That’s way under 10 dollars! I love getting beads and stickers at Dollar Tree. They have a huge variety of craft supplies, which may include hearts, depending on the one you go to. If the one closest to you has a Valentine’s Day section, you may find fun craft supplies there. If not, don’t worry! I’ve got a great option on Amazon for you! Click here to get 50 wooden hearts for under 10 dollars (affiliate)! I love painting wooden stuff, especially for holidays. Valentine’s Day craft supplies are cheap, fun, and the perfect gift for creative friends!

4. Cute Notebook for Journaling

A notebook for journaling is an awesome gift for a friend on Valentine’s Day, especially if they like writing! And most notebooks are pretty cheap! Walmart, Dollar Tree, and pretty much any store have cute notebooks, usually for under $10. You can get one with hearts or flowers to match the Valentine’s Day theme! I found a cute one on Amazon for under $10. It has a rose on the front and has many different colors and varieties to choose from. Click here to buy the notebook (affiliate)! I hope your friend likes the gift!

5. Homemade Dye-Free Valentine’s Day Cookies

If your friend loves cookies, make them this dye-free Valentine’s Day chocolate chip cookie recipe! These cookies are super cute, dye-free, and most importantly, very delicious! They aren’t like those fluorescent red cookies that I see every time I search for Valentine’s Day baking recipes. Absolutely no artificial dyes here! These cookies are so good that they get demolished really quickly every time I make them. My family absolutely loves these chocolate chip cookies! So making these for a friend as a Valentine’s gift is a great idea!

Also, this gift is homemade, so it’s technically free! And if you don’t have freeze-dried strawberries, they are pretty cheap. Like, I get mine for a few bucks a bag. Chocolate chips aren’t as cheap as strawberries, but they don’t cost more than $10. The rest of the ingredients are pretty common, so they really are free. If you love baking and your friend loves cookies, make them this cookie recipe as a special Valentine’s Day gift!

6. Heart Bag

A heart bag is a great gift for a friend! Heart bags are cute, fun, and special. They are great for travel, holding school supplies, and more! In the Valentine’s Day section at the store, you’ll probably find one for under $10, but you may not. That’s why I looked on Amazon for a fun one that is under $10 while being cute. Click here to buy a heart bag (affiliate)! It’s a black bag with pink hearts on it. There are a lot of different options that you can choose, too! I hope your friend likes the gift!

7. Valentine’s Day Baking Supplies

If your friend loves baking, Valentine’s Day baking supplies are an amazing choice! From sprinkles to heart molds, there are many options to choose from. That’s why this is such a great gift idea! Though it’s tough to find Valentine’s Day baking supplies for under $10, if you do enough searching, you’ll find something. You can probably find some great things at your store in the baking section because hearts are year-round, but Amazon has some nice baking things, too. If you can find something in your budget that is. Thankfully, I found a heart silicone mold for under $10! You can buy the silicone heart chocolate mold (affiliate) today! It looks nice, so I hope you get it for your friend and they like it!

8. DIY Crafts

The final thing on this list of Valentine’s Day gift ideas for friends that are under 10 dollars are DIY crafts! Look around your house to find any craft supplies you have on hand. Whether you only have a piece of paper and crayons or a massive collection of stickers and washi tape (like me), there’s something meaningful that you can make with what you have. You can write a note if you only have paper and a pencil. Or you can make this super cute Valentine’s Day card design if you also have coloring supplies! Use your creativity to make the perfect gift for your friend.
