Have you ever wanted to draw cute eyeballs, but all the tutorials you saw were too complicated? If so, this eyeball drawing tutorial is for you! I’m not a professional artist. Because of this, I can give a simple tutorial suited for noobs. The eyeball design I will teach you is not complex, but it is surprisingly easy and cute! Let me teach you how to draw an eyeball for noobs!
Step 1:

First, draw a circle. It can be messy like my circle. We’ll cover the imperfections later.
Step 2:

Next, draw two slanted lines from the top of the circle that end a bit below the bottom of the circle. Make the eyeball as wide or slim as you want.
Step 3:

Then, draw a line at the bottom, connecting the slanted lines.
Step 4:

After that, color in the curved top of the eyeball. Add a hook to the outside to create an eyelash.
Step 5:

Next, draw another circle in the circle part of the eyeball. Leave some space on the side. Draw another circle near the top corner, but make it smaller. Confused by the number of times I said circle? Look at the picture. Your drawing should look like that 🙂
Step 6:

Then, color in the larger circle inside the circle (this sounds like a circle tongue twister). LEAVE THE SMALLEST CIRCLE WHITE!!!
Step 7:

Now the tricky part starts, but I know you can do it (Philippians 4:13)! Lightly shade the remainder of the first circle you drew.
Step 8:

Next, lightly shade again, but stop at the bottom. This creates an ombre effect that makes the eyeball cute and cartoony.
Step 9:

Then, shade the very top to complete the ombre effect. I usually leave my eyeballs like this, but there’s an optional next step you can take to make it even prettier and realistic.
Step 10: FINAL STEP 🙂

Finally, if you want a more realistic eyeball, there is an extra step. Shade the bottom corners of the eyeball and the rounded part below the first circle. Create an ombre effect by making the middle part of the eye whites lighter than the corners. Make the features leading to the middle slightly shaded. Add eyelashes. DIRECTIONS MATTER! Make the lashes to the left curve to the right, and the right lashes curve to the left. Make the top lashes slightly curved.
You just drew an eyeball! It wasn’t that hard (was it?)!
So that’s how to draw an eyeball for noobs. I hope you had fun and learned something new! Cyaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Bye, girlies!
