Do you often find yourself wanting a good breakfast, but you don’t have time to bake breakfast cookies? If that’s you, then don’t worry! Here are five of my favorite breakfast combinations for busy days that are quick and easy meals. You don’t need to cook anything, but these breakfast combinations are very delicious. Let’s dive in!
1. Chocolate Peanut Butter Apple Slices
Chocolate peanut butter apple slices are so good! They may sound complicated and time-consuming, but they really aren’t. Most importantly, they are very delicious. Let me tell you how to make them!
Mix together a spoon of peanut butter (or any other nut butter) and a spoon of cocoa powder in a bowl. You can melt the peanut butter in the microwave before you mix in the cocoa powder if you want to. Cut an apple into slices. Dip the apple slices into the chocolate peanut butter. Enjoy!
Also, if you want to try this recipe on a day that you are not busy, slice the apple horizantally. Cut out the core of each slice. Spread the peanut butter chocolate on each slice to get apple donuts! It’s really fun.
That’s not that hard to make! This breakfast combination is delicious, nutritious, and perfect for busy days. I hope you try it!
2. Charcuterie Board, but Simple
This next combination is a charcuterie board, but simple. Just add crackers, lunch meat, lettuce, grapes or berries, and cheese on a plate and enjoy! This combination is a classic that will always be good for any occasion.
3. Trail Mix

Trail mix is an amazing breakfast combination for a busy day! There are many different types of trail mix. Some have nuts, fruit, and chocolate, while others have popcorn and pretzels. Here’s my classic trail mix recipe that is my go-to.
You just need to mix 1/4 cup of nuts (I use pecans), 1/4 cup of raisins or freeze-dried strawberries, and 1/2 cup of popcorn. Enjoy!
That’s my trail mix recipe, but you can do any trail mix. You might wanna try out my breakfast Valentine’s Day trail mix! It’s so good. Try this recipe today!
4. Quick Salads
The next combination is a salad. I have two salad recipes that you can make if you have the ingredients. These salads are quick and easy! The first one is a fruit salad, and the other is a regular salad. For the first one, just cut any fruit you have into pieces. They don’t have to be perfect because you’re busy. Add lettuce and nuts. Enjoy!
For the second one, just mix lettuce, raisins, a piece of rotisserie chicken, and any other pre-sliced veggies you happen to have available. Add dressing if you want and enjoy! Salads are the perfect breakfast.
5. Super Sandwich or Super Trail Mix
This last combination is a super sandwich or trail mix. Super sandwiches and trail mixes are basically whatever you can find in the fridge or pantry wrapped into a sandwich or trail mix. It’s an interesting combination, but it’s perfect for busy days. Let me give you an example for both.
A super sandwich could be two slices of bread with cheese, nuts, lettuce, broccoli, and fruit in the center. The rules are simple. Add anything you have!
Now, if that sounds nasty, that’s ok. If you don’t want to make a super sandwich with what you have, make a super trail mix! A super trail mix that I made recently had broccoli, mushrooms, everything bagel cashews, rice cakes, and freeze-dried strawberries. Add whatever snacks you have and enjoy! I hope you try this one day.
