A while ago, I found a similar recipe to this one online. It didn’t need yeast, rising, or kneading! I thought that the recipe was a perfect lunch for after church. The picture showed a light, fluffy bread loaf, which looked like normal bread with a quarter of the effort! How amazing is that?!
Well, I made the recipe, and got dense, biscuity bread slices. Did I eat it anyway and enjoy it? Yes. Was it gone in ten minutes due to hungry family members? Yes. But, did it look like the picture, and did the website tell the truth? No. It looked nothing like the picture! I looked closely at the picture and realized that it might’ve been AI-generated. I got tricked! So, I revised that recipe to make it as yeast-bread-like as I could. Determined not to be like that blog that tricked me, I decided to make a real, honest recipe. I called my revised recipe “biscuit bread.”
So, that’s how we got here! Do you like biscuits or bread better? With this recipe, you get a mix of both! I’ve made a lot of bread recipes, and this is the best one for beginners. This bread recipe requires no kneading and can be made in less than 45 minutes!?

Easiest Homemade Biscuit-Bread in Less than 45 minutes
Difficulty Level
Beginner
Cook Time
20-35 minutes
Serves
8
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar (I used turbinado sugar)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (plus more for brushing on top 🙂 )
Steps
1
First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, and then gather ingredients. Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
2
Next, add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt to a mixing bowl. Mix to combine.

3
Then, add milk and melted butter. Mix with a spatula until there is no more dry flour. DO NOT OVERMIX!!!!

4
Next, pour batter into the lined loaf pan. Smooth the top with the spatula. Bake for 20-35 minutes. The top should look like a golden-brown biscuit, and the toothpick should come out clean (that means that when you insert a toothpick in the center and take it out, no batter is on the toothpick). Then, brush the top with melted butter.

5
Finally, let it cool for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, remove the bread from the loaf pan and cut it into slices. Top with anything, but I like jam and homemade butter the best. Enjoy! Hope you had FUNNNN!!!
